Why us?
Teenspired was formed when active community members including a group of local teachers and youth workers identified a lack of provision locally for older teen girls.
In particular, a space specifically for them, where they could meet friends, try new activities out, have the opportunity to share ideas and experiences, and enable us to facilitate opportunities to meet their needs, with the hope that they grow as individuals and community members.
Who for?
Teenspired runs a social space in a Muslim-friendly setting for teen girls from Preston. All girls are welcome, whether they are of the Muslim faith or not.
Our priority users are the teen girls themselves, who benefit. By achieving our goals and assisting in their social, physical and mental wellbeing, their families and the communities they serve will also benefit. Future, prospective employers will see the fruits of these sessions.
